Misty, moisty evening on the West Coast for the April meeting with 24 members and guests – all local – in attendance. Bob B. and Bill L. reported on their recent attendance of the Vancouver coin show and Jeff announced a “discount week” (April 15-22) at Nanaimo Stamp & Coin. The education program for the evening consisted of a video presentation: “Making Ancient Coin Collecting Fun” which is probably a new area for most of us. There followed the usual spirited auction. For the May meeting, we have treat for you: Ron Greene FCNRS will give us a slide presentation of notes used in B.C., either issued or domiciled here. Ron is recognized as being probably the authority on the different branches of B.C. numismatics – certainly in private tokens and paper money of all types. Not to be missed. Dealers' Cards and Classified.
