Before the next meeting night, we will have passed a milestone. As of December 11, the Mid-Island Coin Club will officially be 5 years old. Aren't we a precocious little scamp?! But laurels can be a prickly bed and we should avoid resting on them. Lots of goals we can set and at least try to reach in the upcoming years; there will probably be a number of piddley little difficulties that we will have to head off as well. But if we continue to enjoy ourselves - and just have FUN - the rest will sort of fall into place.

The next Journal should contain the final details of our annual Christmas get-together. Presumably the itinerary will be much the same as last year which thus far set a kind of high water mark. If you can't attend the November meeting, watch these pages.

The "infotainment" part of the November program is rather open and participants are welcome. Otherwise your editor has agreed to tell you a big windy that you might find mildly amusing.
