Just a quick note to say thanks to all who helped out with the Garage Sale to raise funds for the BC Children's Hospital, Leukemia Unit. Saturday morning was filled with a cloudy sky that burnt off in the afternoon and to our delight the sun encouraged the onlookers to come out and scout our wares. We were able to raise just over $1081 dollars for the charity and we are all excited about the amount.

Somebody's junk is someone else treasure

Rosemary Skarbo, thanks so much for not only donating your time but also for hosting this event at your home. Linda Wilton, your energy and funny cheerful manner made the day even more special. Jonathan Wilton who rose around an extra 500$ on his own, bringing the total over $1500: Thank you for showing a positive influence and enthusiasm of a teenage boy. I hope others your age will get into the well worth causes. You are a great role model! Judy Anderson, your time and presence were greatly appreciated; I know Austin was grateful for all the cake you brought. Austin Skarbo, thanks for your lemonade and strawberry shortcake stand, many enjoyed your delights. Perhaps a junior entrepreneur in the future, defiantly another great role model for 9-year-old kids everywhere. A great time had by all and we will do it all again the weekend of Aug 6 th and 7 th , this time the proceeds will be going towards an African maternity ward in Mukeu, Kenya. Please come out and see us we will have loads of new stuff for you to go over as new donations are pouring in. See you there!
